PROTEKTED Records, a Detroit-based independent Record label announced the signing of a manufacturing & distribution agreement with Bungalo Records, Inc. which is exclusively distributed by Universal Music Group Distribution (UMGD). PROTEKTED Record's artist P-Live is the first artist on the PROTEKTED Label that will have its product distributed by the largest family of recording industry.
The deal increases both the visibility and global distribution of releases from PROTEKTED Records. It also partners PROTEKTED with leading cell phone and digital music stores in the world.
The first single from debut Hip-hip artist P-Live entitled “Fresh 2 Def,” is set for digital release on March 3rd, 2009. The physical release of P-Live’s CD will be in stores in late Spring of 2009. The label expects a significant boost in revenues and overall business as a result of the broad improvements in artist and project visibility.
